Old Oak is a small, family-run program focused on raising Dachshund puppies with health-conscious planning, purposeful early socialization, clear information, and support for families preparing for homecoming.
Why we began
Old Oak grew from a desire for clearer conversations about how a puppy was raised, what health work supports the litter, and what families should understand before bringing a Dachshund home.
Our aim is simple: raise puppies carefully, communicate directly, and help families consider whether the breed and an individual puppy fit their household.
The early weeks

Current puppy profiles show age, color, price, registration, vaccinations, and health-guarantee information. Parent health records relevant to a litter can be discussed with approved families.
